The tent can be removed as your child gets older. You can choose the tent bed only or tent bed with slide.

I hired a professional carpenter to assemble this loft bed. He was here for over 5 hours and the bed is still not complete. The directions are incomplete and make no sense. We have parts that are not listed and not visible on the website photo. No step by step instruction, no diagrams to follow, just a nightmare. For the price of the bed this assembly is totally unacceptable. If the bed can not be made stable I will return this week. It is a shame because the wood really is beautiful.
