It assembled easy enough. It does not come with a mattress, so we had to purchase that seperately. It's a little wobbly, but we have wood floors, and it might be more stable on carpet. It does come with brackets so that the bed could be bracketed to the wall. My daughter loves it. I'm interested to see how it will hold up long-term as she is usually pretty hard on furniture.

In a very tiny room, one needs to build, store and live vertically. This product's bed frame is quite high from the floor. The desk is also high enough to put some storage underneath. The desk is very big and great for school work. With bare feet, climbing the ladder is a tad uncomfortable, which is unfortunate because the bed is too high to jump. Even so, the pros most definitely outweigh the cons!
