This is a terrible bed. The directions are a joke. I would not even call them directions since they do not direct you in putting the bed together. I did not receive the correct materials to put the bed together, called to get the rest of the hardware and I'm STILL missing hardware! I have spend HOURS trying to put the bed together and at every turn there has been a problem. And after endless hours the beds are still not together.

I had to replace the drawers that go under the futon because they were shipped broken. Guess what??? The second set are also broken. Next time I will spend three times as much to have directions that direct, have all the hardware needed, and be sure what I do get isn't broken.

Purchased for my 12 and 14 yr old daughters. One sleeps on top bunk and the other on futon. I purchased a thick futon mattress that works great. The bunk beds are high and close to the ceiling, like loft beds. Not good for someone with low ceilings. The bed frame does not fit in the room as well as I would have liked. One of the slats broke the first day, but no problems since. It was HORRIBLE putting this thing together!! Instructions not so great. Probably took me 5 to 7 hrs to assemble over the course of 3 days. My girls have plenty of room for sleepovers on the extra bed and we have a desk under the loft bed. They seem to like it, as well as their 2 younger sibilings. I shopped around and this bed is a good price for all it offers. It is not top-quality, but not cheapie either. The wood is a medium color and has a rustic look to it.

Bought this bed for my kids room. It is a great design, but it took five hours to put together! The directions need to be written better. I do all my shopping online. I will be very cautious buying from here again if assembly is required.

The bunks were chosen by my boys. I was happy with the price [...] My husband had many issues with the instructions sent for assembly. They were terrible!

This bed is made of good quality wood and definitely serves it's purpose. Thank goodness I have a smart man with a drill who put it together. Some of the bunkie boards were too long and would not fit as well as the rest of them did. Also one of the side boards was bowed(twisted/bent)so it was difficult to put the second set of screws for it. The assembly is definitely a 2 man job and requires patience. Once you get past the assembly, the bed is wonderful! Also it is a bit large for the current room its in, so its recommended to measure the room and where you will place it before purchasing it. The bed really comes in handy when we have family and friends visit from out of state!Overall we are pleased.
