I wwas looking for a honey corner bunk for a very long time... the closest match in well known furniture stores were all well over $1,000. This is perfect for my young boys... The soon to be 5year old actually does respect that 'his' bed has to be the bottom bed, while his just turned 9year old brother gets the top. Yes, once in awhile he sneeks up top, but i have the peace of mind that his bed is right below, so chances are he wouldn't ever get hurt.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Oddly enough I've had this set for about 9+ years. It'd been used 2 school-aged boys for a bit before it went into retirement (put it in storage). We recently just reassembled it for a new set of kiddos. It was great to be able to go online and just print a copy of the instructions. The beds went up fairly easily. We did have to replace a few screws but its in good shape and ready for round 2. Good space saver too. This was one of my best buys!

We really like the furniture. The shipping service delivered the chest in pieces. A replacement was sent but the shipping service delivered in pieces again. We were refunded for the broken piece of furniture.
