The Schoolhouse Stairway Loft Bed - Cherry is brilliant, at once masterful yet self-effacing. This miraculous multitasker features four steps, three drawers, a rolling toy box and an integrated desk, all eliminating the need for separate items with the same functions. Constructed from sturdy hardwood and featuring a guardrail, this piece will have you and your child resting easy, and in a dark cherry finish, it will also look marvelous. The stair and desk ends are interchangeable and the desk may be faced inward or outward so your child's individual needs are sure to be met. Optional is a twin or full under bed to accommodate a sibling or visiting friend.

We ordered this loft bed only mostly due to the positive reviews from others. Thankfully we read the review from one guy who was very specific on details (thank you!) and it helped us along the way. It still took us a good five hours to put together.
One key point to remember, not all the parts are interchangeable so make sure you have them in the right spots before putting the dowels and tightening them. We had to take apart a few sections and rearrange a few times.
Overall, my boys loved having a full bed underneath and a twin bed on top- looks really nice, very sturdy bed!

We ordered this bed for our son. It came in multiple boxes and was pretty easy to assemble, especially with all of the drawers already put together. It looks very nice in his room. Great use of space!
