The Schoolhouse Student Loft Bed - Pecan is the ideal station for the work and relaxation of your diligent young student. This loft is constructed from solid hardwood for maximum strength and stability, and in delicious pecan, it's charming to behold. Interchangeable desk and chest ends make this bed truly versatile, offering unique functionality to make life much simpler. The desk may be installed facing inward or outward based on your child's preference or spatial constrictions. Included are an interchangeable ladder and guardrail, and optional is a lower bed to accommodate a sibling or a guest. This loft measures 80L x 42W x 67.75H inches. The lower bed measures 80.75L x 42W x 24H inches.

These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds are only to be used by children 6 years of age or older.

The bunk is absolutely beautiful! The color is richer than the photos show. It matches the trim of the room perfectly! It took just over an hour to put together (hubby is very handy). Parts were all there and in great condition upon arrival. The only downfall was the delivery. When we ordered it, it showed a delivery date and that date came and went twice. We contacted Hay needle and was told that the shipping company has it and it is out of their hands. Not completely satisfied with that answer, we emailed and was given $125 off the purchase. The frustrating part was we needed to be home for delivery so having the dates change several times caused us unwanted worry about work schedules and being available for delivery. Don't be in a hurry for delivery and you won't be disappointed. Our 3 & 7 year old boys love the bunk and it sure looks nice!

We purchased just the loft bed. Definitely took a few hours to assemble, but the directions were overall easy to follow. It's a good idea to have someone help you if you can! The wood is very good quality - not the best, but as long as there's no rough play I think it's going to be great. My son LOVES it and loves the part underneath where he can make a fort. It was a great solution for us - not too big and gave him extra storage and floor space when we really needed it. I think we will secure the structure to the wall for added safety, but overall, it's a great bed!

We wanted a loft bed to give my son more room in his bedroom. He already had pecan furniture, so we didn't want to replace it all. The color matches the other furniture perfectly.

I've had good luck in the past ordering furniture online. My luck has officially changed with my purchase of this bed, the matching dresser, and bookshelf. The delivery was prompt and friendly. My positive review ends there. The hardware that came with this set is cheap. Using just a screw driver, no power tools, the heads of several screws just twisted right off of the screws. Many others were stripped by a medium amount of effort to screw them in (I am a woman, so I didn't over tighten them). Several of the furniture parts were defective/cracked and after two weeks of my son sleeping on a mattress on the floor, I have yet to receive a response to numerous calls and emails about the replacement parts. I guess I can't really rate the furniture itself, because it is just a collection of pieces leaning against the walls in my son's room. I wouldn't waste my time or money on this place again!
