With its kid-friendly height, built-in storage, and fun playhouse space, the Universal Junior Loft with Tent gets a big thumbs up from us. And we know how it often is with kids - lots of stuff but not much space. This junior loft bed provides elevated sleeping space with plenty of storage and play space underneath. The welded tubular steel frame is finished in a sleek silver color that can match any color scheme. Four built-in bookshelves with metal mesh back panels offer handy storage for games, shoes, toys, and more. The removable blue, yellow, and teal fabric curtain encourages creative play while also providing a place to stash toys out of sight. If your child likes to draw, write, or do art projects, then you might want to add the optional desk and round stool. The removable desk hooks onto the end of the loft bed, expanding the length of the bed from 80L to 94.25L inches overall. The tops of the shelves, desk, and stool are made of engineered wood and finished in a light-colored wood vinyl laminate, which complements the sporty style of the metal frame.

These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds are only to be used by children 6 years of age or older.

My son loves the bed. It was pretty easy to put together. it took me less than an hour. It was damage on two corners from shipping (I guess). Much better than I thought it would be.

I bought this low loft bunk for my 7 yr old. It came very well packed. The directions were easy to understand. I (a woman) was able to assemble it with my 13 year old daughter. It went together very easily in under an hour. My son loves his new bed! The shelves, desk and stool do not have pre-drilled holes in the wood sections so that took the longest amount of time. The bed seemd very sturdy after a week of sleeping on it. I am very pleased with this purchase and I also bought the dressers that are made by the same mfr. They are not top of the line but durable. Nice for the price!

This is a very nice little bed and my son loves it. I almost did not buy it because the railing does not look high enough in the picture. I don't know what kind of mattress that is, but the railing is high enough to use with a regular mattress with no worries. Metal is so much cheaper than wood and easier to put together because you get fewer larger pieces. I put this together alone in about 2 hours.
