Bedding
This loft set is so complete it's almost a whole house. The Woodland Pecan Student Twin Loft Bed contains a roomful of furniture in one brilliant unit. The raised twin loft clears room for the included desk, shelves, and dresser. You can add a matching lower twin bed to double your sleeping space, and it comes with casters for easy moving. The roomy desk includes a fold-down keyboard tray, and all drawers have side-mounted metal guides with automatic drawer stops for years of smooth operation. Plus, for your convenience, you can also add one or two free mattresses to your order. This is one efficient operation!
Free optional mattresses are Sleep Time Mattresses. A good-quality mattress measuring 6 inches thick, the Sleep Time Mattress is perfectly sized for bunk beds, trundles, and daybeds. A light blue quilted polyester cover encloses a combination of convoluted poly-foam and innerspring coils that provide both comfort and support. Fiber pad insulators keep the inner mattress core and outer upholstery layers securely in place. Mattress meets all FR 1633 federal flammability standards. Twin measures 74L x 38W x 6H inches.
We take your family's safety seriously. That's why all of our bunk beds come with a bunkie board, slat pack, or metal grid support system. These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds are only to be used by children 6 years of age or older.

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Student Twin Loft Bed:
We ordered this bed (w/the twin lower bed) after MUCH research and shopping both online and in stores. I was nervous about ordering such a piece online, sight unseen, but my worries were misplaced[...]The bed components are very good quality and seem very well made. The bed is very attractive and is the perfect solution for our 2 boys (ages 11 and 8). My ONLY complaint (& it is small - so small I can't even deduct a star for it) is that the directions are a bit confusing. They only include pictures of the assembly in large portions, not really step by step. To make it more confusing, none of the pieces are labeled in any way. Saying that, my husband and I were able to assemble the whole thing in about 4 solid hours. It really went together very easily once we figured out each step.Overall, I would definitely recommend this product and this company to anyone.

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Student Twin Loft Bed:
I shopped for loft beds on the internet for some time before finally settling on this one. And I'm glad I spent the time, because this bed was far and away the best value for the money - I saw comparable items selling for almost double the price. The bed itself is solid wood (even the backing for the desk kneehole), while others I saw in this price range all included at least some MDF, or had fewer features. The bed is completely configurable: you can arrange the rails so that the ladder is on either end or either side, and the bottom pieces can switch ends and can face in or out. So this bed can be made to fit pretty much any room.It is a bit difficult to assemble. [...]only the cases for the desk and bureau drawers were assembled. The bed frame and all its slats must be put together before being hoisted onto the end units, which means that unless you're a weightlifter you're going to need help. And pieces which were labelled in the instructions with letters did not have letter stickers directly on them, which meant a little bit of guessing between similar pieces at the beginning of assembly (lucky I got it right!). But that's the only downside that I can see.The important thing - my son *loves* it. The "den" area under the bed gives him a feeling of privacy, and he enjoys being "above it all" in the bed itself. He's 10, so I have no fears about the bed being safe enough for him - but I probably wouldn't have considered a loft bed any younger, and the instructions do state it's not for small children. But at this age, when he's beginning to need a computer for his homework, this bed was absolutely the perfect choice for his room and his growing life.

My only concern was that the directions were missing. When I called, the wrong ones were emailed, then we finally got them. Also, there was a knob missing. Other than that, my son loves his new bed.[...]

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Student Twin Loft Bed:
This product has all the furniture you would need for a young child. The upper bed seems sturdy, and the bookshelf and desk are very nice. It would be nice for the desk to have a few access holes in it for computer cords, but we were able to work around that. The dresser drawers were of marginal quality and seemed to be a little off-center. Overall I like this product and would recommend it.
