What We Like About This Futon Mattress
A firm mattress is recommended for sleeping, and the Deluxe Firm Aerolife futon mattress in one of our better choices. At 6 inches thick, it is the recommended size for A frame and tri-fold futons. This mattress is constructed with three foam layers and a newly patented cotton blend fiber that will not clump over time. The new blend creates a thicker, softer product that is more lightweight, resilient, breathable, and durable. An excellent choice for a sleeping futon. Fits a full size futon frame.
Full/Double Mattress: 75L x 54W x 6H inches

this futon was supposed to be 6". it came and was 4". i let it breathe for over a week and it is still 4" with the cover fitting loosely. additionally, it has an odor...chemical...that has not yet abated.

Inexpensive, but I was disappointed with the quality. I bought two for the Ethan bunks (which are great), and the mattress is about 7" too short for the beds, so I've had to add materials to make sure there's no slipping feet or hands through the cracks. They're for the kids, and I'll keep them, but I may wind up stacking two and getting an alternate mattress for the older child.
