What a great bed for our 2 young boys! This bed is sturdy and made with excellent wood. It is very comparable in price and quality to some bunk beds we saw in high end furniture stores. The only problem we had was with the assembly instructions. They were not specific enough and assembly took awhile longer than stated on the website. This is a bed that is highly worth the money. We suggest it for anyone looking for a bunk bed.

We bought this for our 2 year old with the intention of it being her bed and then her sister's as well once the little one is big enough too. It is actually a pretty solid bed overall, BUT:
-The top bunk is accessed by stairs, but the child will have to climb over a railing that is higher than the mattress. We're considering cutting that part down to be flush with the frame.
-The finish is often quite rough and was obviously not well sanded, something we'll likely do.
-There are pieces that are splintery, which makes me nervous, since the 2 year old will likely climb all over it. We'll also have to sand this to prevent slivers.
-There are several of the pre-assembled parts that are either crooked or were obviously damaged but still stained and clear coated. Example: on the stairs there is a 2x4 that was splintered, probably from the hole drilling, that was left and then had finish put on it. They really couldn't switch it out?
-The drawers are AWFUL! Their track is a single track in the middle that allows the drawer to wobble in and out, rather than glide, and the drawers in the base unit seem too small for the hole that was cut, so they really wobble (plus one of our drawer fronts is warped and doesn't close flat). I'd forgo the extra cost of these and just get some good underbed storage bins. I was planning to use these drawers and those in the stairs for clothing, but I think opening them all of the time would just make me mad. I'll probably use them for blanket storage until we get around to putting decent drawer glides on them.
On the bright side it was really easy to assemble. It took two of us, simply because it was easier to install the braces for the mattresses. Also the full size bed could easily be reconverted back to a twin later if you decide it's too big. It's just an expansion that connects to the standard twin. Once it is put together it doesn't shake and seems really solid (aside from the drawers).
It's an alright bed. We were disappointed, considering the price, but it will do and I doubt our toddler will care much about it's inadequacies. She just likes the stairs.

Comments about Woodcrest Woody Creek Front Load Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:
i think the quality is very bad, I am very disappointed. The color isn't like the picture (or I received a wrong bed), the deliver left 7 boxes in front of my door and I have to build it myself. There should be an option to hire to be installed.

Comments about Woodcrest Woody Creek Front Load Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:
The bed was only like half way put together, damaged in shipment ,brackets on drawers only screwed into the wood partially and in the wrong location at that. There were no instructions which was not a big issue for me but some
people if probably would have been. The mattresses were about 1 1/2" thick
and After a couple hundred bucks for mattress pads it was fine.Grand daughter loves it and I guess thats all that matters.Would I recommend or buy
another ?? No I don't think so

Comments about Woodcrest Woody Creek Front Load Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:
I did not receive all the pieces to put the bunk beds together. We did not get the mattress support on neither the top or the bottom. we didn't get the extension to make the bottom bunk a full bed and we didn't get the rails, but it's ok because we don't have anything to put the mattresses on anyway.

Comments about Woodcrest Woody Creek Front Load Twin over Full Bunk Bed with Stairs:
Perhaps I am knocking this product too much. For the price, I would have expected finer touches and overall better construction. However, the bed is all solid wood. Assembled, it is sturdy where it counts the most (holding up the mattress) and looks as it should. The biggest complaints are that staples are used in much of the construction, perhaps in some places where I would have preferred nails or screws for durability reasons.
In addition, some of the nails on the staircase unit's boards missed their mark on the studs and I had to go in and cut ends off with a dremel tool. This was not a sturdiness issue, but shows the lack of attention to detail I wrote about previously. No dovetails on the drawers, some spots needed better sanding/smoothing, damaged guard rail where a slat separated from its post (easily repaired at home, how about a screw instead of a staple?) and absolutely zero extra screws or washers (don't loose any!) in the kit are just some other examples of poor attention to detail. Finally, the instructions were pathetic. Don't count on them, fortunately there is not much you will need to assemble as the staircase unit (the center piece of the bed) already comes assembled and it's heavy (good)!
Bottom line, would I buy this bed again: YES.
Would recommend it to a friend: Probably.
Main con: For the money, perhaps better attention to detail needed.
Main Pro: Sturdy, all solid wood, looks great, my kids love it.

Q1: What is the weight capacity for both, the top and bottom bunks?
A: Our supplier has provided the following information : All beds are tested with 350 lbs on the upper bunk for a 5 minute time period. In regards to a child sleeping all night, we suggest starting with 180lbs and using a parents discretion from that point forward.
