I bought these beds for my kiddos and they absolutely love them. These beds are solid wood and very sturdy. I can't believe the price on them. I went to a lot of stores and these are better. I was a little worried about buying online but I read the reviews decided on them. These beds are heavy since they are solid and real wood. We needed to take them out of the box to take them up stairs. The color medium oak is beautiful. The beds were fairly easy to put together. These beds were made to last. They were well packed and they were delivery in there time frame. I really recommend these bunk beds and hayneedle. They made the process easy.

My husband put this bed together very quickly and easily. We moved to an apartment in Chicago and wanted our 6 year old daughter to still be able to have sleepovers with her friends despite having a smaller bedroom. This bed was a great deal - it looks fabulous and is very sturdy. We looked at quite a few different furniture stores - and this bed is comparable to ones that were two and three times as expensive. We ordered this bunk bed after looking at several other options. My main concern was the safety of the bunk bed and this is a good solid bed. One headboard was slightly scratched when it arrived, and the other had large safety stickers, which were hard to remove. One drawer was completely broken but Hayneedle have already reordered the drawers for us. I wasn't very impressed with the independent delivery company who could have informed me that "to the door," also meant in the garage (which was only 3ft further). Instead the delivery man watched me (6 months pregnant) cart the bed in the garage, and he was also kind enough to leave me with a large wood pallet that I now need to take to the landfill.

I bought this bed (with trundle) in the medium oak hoping it would compliment a captain's bed (with trundle) I already have in the bedroom where visiting grandsons sleep. I need 5 beds for 5 grandsons. I was very hesitant to order online without actually seeing what I was buying, especially knowing that a return would be difficult. I could not find a bunk comparable where I live. I contacted a representative who
answered my detailed questions about every facet of this bed. The rep was very nice and patient. My husband built the bed without a hitch and we are both very impressed with how sturdy the bed is. We love not only the wood but the medium oak color.
