A Unique 5-Step Finishing Process
Each product in the entire line is finished with a high build, 5-step finishing process. After a thorough sanding, (1) a wipe on sealer is applied. Once dry, a tinted sealer (2) is applied to even the grain and color of the wood. Next, another round of sanding before the first base color coat is applied (3). More sanding and the second base color coat is applied (4). Finally there is a final sanding and the finish coat is applied (5).This process produces a long lasting and durable finish that will last for years.

Founded in 1983 as Watercraft, Inc., Atlantic Furniture started as a manufacturer of pine waterbed frames. Since then, the Springfield, Mass.-based company has expanded to Fontana, Calif. We take your family's safety seriously. That's why all of our bunk beds come with a bunkie board, slat pack, or metal grid support system. These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds are only to be used by children 6 years of age or older.
