About the Colorado Twin over Twin Bunk Bed
Made from solid hardwood, the Colorado Twin over Twin Bunk Bed is ideal for your child's active lifestyle. A Unique 5-Step Finishing Process
Each product in the entire line is finished with a high build, 5-step finishing process. After a thorough sanding, (1) a wipe on sealer is applied. Once dry, a tinted sealer (2) is applied to even the grain and color of the wood. Next, another round of sanding before the first base color coat is applied (3). More sanding and the second base color coat is applied (4). Finally there is a final sanding and the finish coat is applied (5).This process produces a long lasting and durable finish that will last for years.
About Atlantic Furniture
Founded in 1983 as Watercraft, Inc., Atlantic Furniture started as a manufacturer of pine waterbed frames. Since then, the Springfield, Mass.-based company has expanded to Fontana, Calif. The company has moved away from the use of pine and now specializes in imported furniture made of the wood of rubber trees.
The Benefits of Eco-Friendly Rubberwood
Prized as an environmentally friendly wood, rubberwood makes use of trees that have been cut down at the end of their latex-producing life cycle. The trees are removed by hand and replaced with new seedlings. In the past, felled rubber trees were either burned on the spot or used as fuel for locomotive engines, brick firing, or latex curing. Atlantic's Unique Five-Step Finishing Process

I was surprised at the good quality of wood for this bed. The packaging was excellent also so nothing was damaged, and it was fairly simple to put together. It looks great in our girls room, and they love it!!!

We are very happy with the bunks. They went together in under 3 hours, and kiddos have been enjoying them for weeks. The beds are very sturdy as I climb up now and then to tuck in a kiddo or change sheets. The wood has had no chipping or scratching. Drawers are very lovely and spacious. They roll smoothly, and though they are not on tracks, my preschoolers can easily access their things inside. Very impressed with overall quality. Excellent customer service too.

We are extremely pleased with this bed. My son loves it and finds the ladder easy to climb, but we were happy that our 2 year old is unable to climb up. The quality is great and it was fairly easy to set up. You will definitely need 2 people to stack the beds. Overall just very pleased with everything about this bed. If I had any complaints, it would be that it is a challenge to make the top bunk or change sheets. But, I would think that most top bunks are a challenge to make. Definitely would recommend this one.

We are very pleased. We just put it together yesterday for our two boys, 7 and 9 and they just love it. We have been looking at bunk beds in stores for quite awhile. Our boys have a nice light/med. oak dresser and we wanted to match that in a mission style and looking in stores at oak we'd pay 3 times as much.
