Description

Improved! After receiving customer feedback on the length of the mattress being too short, we conferred with the manufacturer. The issue stemmed from the compression of the mattress. The manufacturer has addressed the issue, and the mattresses will be a full 74 inches in length (standard twin size). Please remember that because this is a compressed mattress, it requires 24 hours to fully expand to its actual size.

Our Ethan Twin over Twin Bunk Bed - 2 Free Mattresses features a solid pine wood construction for durability and a pine with lacquer sealant finish that goes with any bedroom theme. Due to its high-quality craftsmanship and resilient finish, this twin-over-twin bunk bed is built to last. The top bunk comes with guard rails for your child's safety and is accessible by a sturdy stationary ladder. The twin bunk bed easily converts into two single beds to transition with your growing child. Included slat packs provide plenty of support for the two free mattresses. Weight capacity on top bunk is 180 pounds. Add the optional under-bed drawers for handy storage of clothes, toys, games, and more.

 

Free mattress available is a Sleep Time Mattresses. This twin sized mattress is constructed of durable polyester knit and sports a 1/4 inch quilted fire barrier on the top and border. The smooth bottom panel is also flame resistant to keep you extra safe in the event of an emergency. The mattress is filled with a double layer of High Density Dream Soft polyurethane foam for added comfort. Mattress measures 73L x 37W x 5.75 inches.

 

We take your family's safety seriously. That's why all of our bunk beds come with a bunkie board, slat pack, or metal grid support system. These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds are only to be used by children 6 years of age or older.

The bed itself was easy to assemble. It looks very nice once set-up and the kids love it. The only complaint I have thus far (only owned it one week) is that I purchased the 2 under the bed drawers -- they are not worth the extra money I spent on the bed. First, the drawers do not connect to the bed at all -- no railings or anything, just two drawers on wheels that slide out from under the bed, no control over them. I also think the drawers are small, I was expecting the drawers to be closer to the depth of the bed, but they are only half drawers...

We bought this bed because it was inexpensive and it came with two mattresses. The bed was VERY easy to put together. The material is not the most sturdy, but the bed is nice and it came with all parts. I wouldn't let the kids rough house on these beds at all since the material seems a little cheap. The dowels used to mount the top bed to the bottom bed are a joke. I walked past the bed and got my shirt caught on two of them and they both broke in half. I bought a metal rod from [...] and cut my own dowels. Assembling the bed took me 3 hours. Cutting the rods took 3 more hours. BTW, the mattresses that came with the bed are ridiculous. They don't even fit the bed. I called their customer support line and they said it takes a month for the mattresses to expand. A MONTH!! My kids wanted to sleep on the beds when they were assembled. We threw the mattresses away and bought two new ones that cost as much as the bed itself.Summary: if you want an inexpensive bed that's decent quality, this is a great deal. Just don't expect to like the mattresses.

    I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. I had been looking around for months and finally decided upon this one. I was really drawn in by having two free mattresses and free shipping. I am happy with the bed so far. It is very sturdy and I had no problem assembling it by myself. The wooden slats aren't the strongest but they get the job done for now. The mattresses are very thin but comfortable. Don't expect a spring mattress, it is foam and only about 5 inches thick. Well worth the money and has made my son a happy boy.

        I bought this bed 4 years ago for my then 4 year old son. Assembly was not difficult. The only adjustment we made was to screw to the slats in place under the mattress. THIS WAS NOT HARD at all and really improved the stability of the bed. I am in the process of ordering replacement parts since we lost a few screws when we moved. So far the manufacturer has been helpful. Overall, this has been a great bed that has lasted and is very sturdy when assembled properly. I recommend it - and recommend the minor adjustment to assembly. I expect it to last a few more years!

          the bed frame was of ok quality for the price. The slats that hold the mattress were of very poor quality and rough. The bed was packaged very poorly so it was damaged during shipping. The cardboard box was paper thin and there was not any foam packing on the corners. Three boxes were opened upon arrival.
