This twin-over-twin bunk bed is crafted of solid pine wood. Its durability and practicality make it an excellent choice for multi-child rooms. Twin slat packs are included with this bed. This bunk does not separate into two individual beds. Stairs are not interchangeable on both ends and can only be placed as the image shows.

All and all, as a parent, fairly happy with this bunk bed. We had just enough width to fit this setup into the room. The drawers in the stairs and underneath were a huge plus! The kids absolutely love it. When we started looking locally for bunk beds, nothing matched how well this one was put together. This thing will last forever!
I did comment on the stain, the stain job on the stair section was not overly well done. It was very very light in areas (to the point of seeing unstained wood). Took a piece in to match the stain to resolve.
FYI: The website claims you can only have the stairs on one side (left side as you look at the bed). That isn't the case, you can install it on either side. We did install it on the left side as the picture showed, but the stairs were setup to be installed from either side.

Was very disappointed with the company the beds are shipped from. They arrived with pieces missing, the company hayneedle charged my credit card three times the mattresses were missing the drawers underneth were missing. The parts that came assembled were poorly done. The directions were hardly directions....but once everything was sorted out the beds look nice and are very sturdy. Will never order from this company again though.

Bought this bed for my 7 year old son and he LOVES it! The stairs to the top bunk are a huge plus, especially because he likes to sleep with the dog and the dog can very easily get up the stairs to the top bunk with him! Love having the extra bed on the bottom for sleepovers and will be perfect as he gets bigger. It was very easy to put together and is incredibly sturdy, Very good looking piece of furniture for the price and was shipped for free. Had a minor problem with shipping but new product was sent out immediately and when I told them I needed delivery before Christmas, they were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this bed! Very happy with this purchase.

We hope these mattresses will somehow "fluff up" more as they sit outside their boxes... until the furniture comes in... They look cheap and flimsy and have deep marks where they were folded to fit in their delivery boxes. Not impressed... but then, they were free... supposedly... we saw that we got charged over $100 per mattress... yeah yeah yeah your system cannot process free items blah blah blah but seriously, these are worth less than $20 each....
