Constructed from hardwood solids and veneers, this bunk bed has a top-notch quality that will keep it safe and sturdy for years. Featuring a saddle brown finish that beautifully highlights the wood's natural grain, this bed features an elegant, decorative headboard and footboard. With wide slat panels and nicely rounded corners, these pieces are finished with gently curved bed posts. The headboard also features evenly spaced slats for added detail. Your purchase includes a ladder for safe access to the top bunk and side guard rails to keep kids safe once they're up there. These beds will easily separate to create two separate beds. All headboards and footboards are 45.75L x 3D inches. The top bunk bed ends are 30 inches tall while the bottom bunk ends are 35 inches tall.
You also have the choice of purchasing an underbed trundle/storage drawer. You can use this as an extra bed or a storage drawer for all those extras in the room. The trundle measures 76W x 40.75D x 12.75H inches.

The bed is wonderful!! The top bunk, where my almost 8 year old sleeps ksn't too high that his 4 y/o sister can't join him to read. The bed was easy to assemble and just as described!! Also the bed shipped before the posted ship date. The only bad was the original bed I wanted was not labled discontinued and I was only informed of it a week later. I did get this bed for the same price, which was $50 more! Very satisfied though!! :)

Our boys(4 & 6 yrs.) use these everyday. When they first arrived, we could not mount the beds, as one pre-drilled hole was not drilled deeply enough. The company sent a replacement part within a few days. Had the beds now 6+ mos; they have dings on the ladder and upper side panel, and a chipped piece off a side panel that is near the wall where no one climbs/plays.Slat packs are good, but would not withstand anyone 'pouncing' on a mattress. Like them, but not a much as I would like to!

I purchased the bunkbeds for my grandaughters. They're very sturdy and attractive. They even came with extra, stronger slats. That showed me that you have payed attention to the comments people have made in their reviews, since many had said that the slats broke easily.
The girls love their beds and I'm sure they will last a very long time. I'm planning on buying another set for my other grandchildren.
